Severe weather warnings are also included. This app works well, and has been accurate. Pros: A lot of information available; Pinpoints the station transmitting current weather data; Displays regional weather maps and traffic camera information. Cons: It doesn't allow for much customization; A lot of ads crowd the screen Weather bug does a good job providing weather information and forecasts for my family, especially when we travel. Its combination of features provides an easy to use interface for quick and understandable information.
The only suggestions I have is 1 provide a future-cast map layer and 2 provide an hour-by-hour or, at least, a day-by-day history of temperature, rainfall, humidity, barometric pressure, etc.
I've had weather bug since before smart phones and apps were things. It's very reliable, pulls information from multiple sources and gives you all the data you need about the locations you ask it to look at. It's always improving as well. As a Floridian weather bug has been my go to source for weather information since the early 's.
I really like the "follow-me" feature of WeatherBug. I don't have to tell it where I'm at. It knows from the location feature of both my tablet and phone. However, the "follow-me" feature is also what I dislike most about WeatherBug. Very often, maybe even most of the time, the location it finds is a good number of miles away from where I'm really at.
Now I suppose this could be the lack of pinpoint accuracy of my tablet and phone, or it could be a WeatherBug problem. Either way, considering our greatly advanced technology these days, you would think such a problem would not exist.
Except for this one issue, I really like WeatherBug - at least four stars worth. No current weather radar map and never predicts accurately! It has not even once correctly predicted rain since installed! I am giving it another week and if I feel like its a waste of space on my tablet, I will delete it!
I really want to find onecthst has a current radar map! I've had Weather Bug for years. I loaded with the locations of my kids wherever they are, places I may want to go to on a day's notice, and places I go on vacation or am interested in visiting someday.
Then, I can see their weather, alert notices, pictures, traffic cams, etc. I particularly like the animated weather maps and Spark. Spark reports how close the last lightning strike was in the past 30 minutes and has a map of the strikes showing up that you can really zoom in on, which the grandkids LOVE and we use to keep safe when swimming.

Weatherbug in my opinion is the best weather app there is. I've had a lot of weather apps, but after awhile I've uninstalled the app, feeling that something just isn't right with the layout or the coverage or even the content. So far Weatherbug is the only app that shows you where lightning strikes are occurring.
